This sixty-minute panel presentation will introduce participants to the key difference between actions in ejectment and to quiet title, with emphasis on how both may offer older clients protection from abuse and financial exploitation.

The presentation will also provide a brief overview of the necessary steps to prepare for litigate, and or resolve quiet title cases. Finally, a portion of the program will highlight ways to help older clients avoid the need for these actions, namely by educating and advising them of the critical importance of basic estate planning.

SeniorLAW Center's Assistant Director of Victim Services, Brendan Corbalis, and Lamont Edwards will provide an overview of the entire process using case studies of clients they have represented.
