Pennsylvania CLE credits will be available to attorneys who actively participate in webinars and indicate their participation through polls displayed periodically during the webinars.

Mobile Home Ownership Issues

Affordable homeownership is one benefit offered to residents of mobile homes, but owning a mobile home comes with many issues of its own.

This session will discuss titling issues, problems with financing, purchase agreements or "rent-to-own" scheme, paying property taxes and dealing with tax sales, and the loss of the home through reposession or abandonment proceedings.

Brian Doyle is a Staff Attorney and Pro Bono Coordinator with Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. He practices family law, protection from abuse, unemployment compensation, and other matters. He coordinates volunteers for cases and other projects for LASP in Chester County.

Dan Vitek

Staff Attorney, Community Justice Project
Dan Vitek is a supervising attorney with the Community Justice Project. He focuses on tenant rights, utilities, and fair housing. In his free time, he enjoys talking with legal aid advocates about the comings and goings of mobile home park life.
