Diversity and Inclusion in the Legal Profession: An Interactive Legal Education Program
Objection is an interactive educational experience on diversity, inclusion, and bias issues in the legal profession. Developed by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education (CLS) Board and Carnegie Mellon Entertainment and Technology Center, this program is designed to advance the awareness of these issues in the legal community.

Facilitator led, the program utilizes animated vignettes, audience polling technology, and group discussions to explore realistic workplace situations and contemplate issues, viewpoints and ethical issues.

Participant Requirements: Due to the interactive nature of this training, participants must clear the browsing history on their device (computer/laptop/ipad/tablet/phone) prior to the start of the training.

Implicit Bias & Debiasing
This session introduces the science of social cognition and implicit bias and the ways in which implicit bias, identity anxiety & stereotype threat contribute to negative racialized outcomes. It also includes an introduction to bias mitigation strategies particularly in the context of staff hiring & retention.
