Monty Wilson is a senior attorney with CLS’s Housing & Consumer Rights Unit. His practice focuses largely on municipal tax & mortgage foreclosure defense in both state court and federal bankruptcy court. He has also worked extensively with local community organizations and the City of Philadelphia to aid Philadelphia homeowners faced with real estate tax foreclosures. Prior to working for CLS, Mr. Wilson spent six years teaching adult basic education in Philadelphia and Mississippi.
Mr. Wilson is also a member of the
National Association of Consumer Attorneys (NACA).
Mr. Wilson graduated from the
Temple University School of Law in 1999. He received his L.L.M. in State and Local Government Law from Temple in 2000. He graduated from
Swarthmore College in 1990 with a B.A in English Literature.
